This small island of 200 people is ruled by a chief and he holds the Sabbath firmly so no commerce could take place since we arrived on Sunday. We climbed the highest point on the island and had the most spectacular view 360 degrees of gorgeous scenes. It was a steep grade of a hill and took around an hour each way on a little goat like path. We had been told that the ship folks were welcome to attend the church service at 10:30 -when the chief sounded the gong on his special bell.
