Feb 1, 2008 - Langano to Awasa

Friday, February 1st - We set out for Lake Awasa, the regional capital and a much larger city than anything we could have imagined from what we knew of it in the past. David had an appointment with the local Project Manager of the Compassion Program in the area where his family sponsor a young girl called Emebet. The whole family were invited out to the school run by the local Kale Hiwot Church and where 256 of the 400 students are sponsored through Compassion.
