The ship set sail today at 5:20AM – it was supposed to sail at 5:30AM so it was 5:30ish…so as expected Wendy was up as soon as she heard the engines start. At approximately 12:15PM everyone, including the pilot and crew were ready to sail to Kom Ombo, our next “discovery”… or so we thought. ... We could see the Kom Ombo temple on the hill overlooking the Nile and walked approximately 5 minutes with Amin, up many stairs where we received our tickets and proceeded inside. ...
