Mar 14, 2007 - The Amazon, Rio Napo, Ecuador

We had pre-booked an organised trip to take us to the Amazon and Galapagos Islands in Ecuador so that we could really enjoy the last couple of weeks away without having to spend too much time worrying about how to get from A to B etc... We arrived back in Quito and received a letter from our tour company telling us to be ready for the trip to the jungle early the next morning. The lodge setup was nice, the people friendly (as usual in South America) and the vegetation was certainly different. We didn't see all that much wildlife, but the opportunity to walk...

Feb 20, 2005 - Cuayabeno Reserve 14.-18.2.2005

Menimme yobussilla Lago Agrioon lahelle Kolumbian rajaa, josta pikkubussi kuljetti meidat vanhaa kunnon soratieta pitkin Cuayabenon kansallispuiston portille. Lago Agrio on oljykaupunki. Ja oljykaupunki on oljykaupunki. Siella ei ole mitaan kiinnostavaa. Tien varrella on...
