A lot happened today. After being about 10' above sea level for a few days, the altitude of Quito made sleeping difficult for me. I gave up and got up at 3:30. I sorted out my Galapagos pictures till about 6:00 and then laid down for another hour before getting up for good. First, I went downstairs to the hotel Internet. Sani So from the cool, rarefied atmosphere of the high mountain plains we flew into Coca, the heat and the thick air almost unbearable with the beast of a Tequila hangover in tow.
