Today was our last day at Huasquila so we decided to do the Jumandy caves that we had missed out on our first day. We were back at the lodge for a relaxing lunch and then all packed up, Cecilia drove us back into the town of Cotundo and waited with us until our bus arrived. ... We had bought tickets in the front row (thinking of preventing Quinn from having his massive legs being squished the whole time) and there was a man without any legs in the front seat who refused to share the other seat with a white foreigner.Today was our last day at Huasquila so we decided to do the Jumandy caves that we had missed out on our first day. Mar 13, 2009 - Huasquila Lodge: Day 1

Into the Amazon today!!! Well we couldnt afford a lodge in the deep deep jungle but this one was luxurious, super fairly priced and full of activities available and included in the price. We arrived in Cotundo around 10 am and the driver soon met us huddled underneath a bus shelter to escape the torrential rain. ... We arrived at the beautiful, peaceful lodge and were introduced to our amply spacious, 2 sinked cabin built in the Quichua style complete with 3 separate and super comfy beds and a hammock out front.Into the Amazon today!!!
