Yesterday was day 3 in Copenhagen and we went to Ripley's Believe It or Not.  (I really can't believe I let the kids suck me into going!). We also went to the Hans Christian Anderson Museum and got to listen to stories like the Tin Soldier, Little Match Girl and the Ugly Duckling.  We then hired a car and drove across the great belt bridge (at great expense $40 each way) through Odense Veijle and on to Billund, that Millie would like me to just call Legoland. Legoland was well worth the effort!  It was amazing and we were really impressed...

LEGOLAND: Theme park, world of miniatures and much more. Rob, Riekie, Lidwien and I drove (well Rob drove) to Billund, in the area of Ribe, Denmark. Legoland is there, right next to a giant water park. since the weather was a bit iffie, we gave the water park a miss and figured that Legoland would keep us busy most of the day. We were not mistaken. The first thing that we did when we arrived was split up. Our Europe Excursion

Jun 20, 2012 - Legoland

Wednesday June 20, 2012 Legoland is a wonderful amusement park and so much more. The rides are really interesting – there's a polar section, one that's got a castle and knights, a jungle, a couple with water features, lots of cute Lego characters. The part for small kids features rides made from Duplos. There's a really fun “ride” that involves propelling a fire engine across a yard to the burning houses and then pumping the water to spray on the burning house, all the while racing the other fire trucks. The rides are basically cute...

Sep 15, 2006 - Greetings from Germany

NEWS FLASH!!! Britain has decided to fall in with the rest of Europe and drive on the right hand side of the road. They intend to implement the change incrementally next Sunday by moving trucks to the right hand side of the road. Lots of photos from Denmark, our German ones we will send next trip to the Internet. Please excuse if we are repeating some of them. We are off to Heidelberg on Monday to spend some time with our Rotary Exchange Student from years ago, Mignon. Then we will head for Italy, at last, through Austria and Switzerland....

First off. **************If any of you know of any apartments available for the 1st of December. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know!! I'm looking for a one bedroom, in kits. No suites in houses. I'm not going to get any pickier than that other than 'no dumps please' since places are so hard to come by in kits!
