Sep 23, 2014 - Sailing the high seas (Higher than some of the crew would have chosen)

For the sailors, departed 1005, winds generally 18-22, gusts to 28, seas 4-6 ft, close hauled much of the way, arrived Vrboska at 1525. Today was a stretch for some of the crew as they were apprehensive about the waves which were higher than they anticipated. Despite reassurance that we were in no danger, the ladies were anxious to reach our destination, and a wind shift which came with the local "Bora" wind was a further insult to their sensibilities. Jun 15, 2011 - Bol and Vrboska

We motored out of Palmizana on our Beneteau 46 Anambra to find light winds so we kept motoring for about an hour until a nice breeze came up. This happened just off Dugi Rat (I'm pretty sure "rat" means point or spit) which is right beside the city of Bol on rhe Island of Brac. This is a major tourist destination in Croatia and apparently where all the travel commercial photos are taken.
