Jul 23, 2015 - Krka

43°30'5"N 16°31'21"E Stobreč, County of Split Croatia Off the Krka we went. Crazy busy day. Long drive out to Krka entrance, where we hopped on a boat for a thirty minute ride into the national park itself to see the mountainous side of Croatia (and the insane waterfalls). We hiked around for two hours and then hit the water below the base waterfall (the only place you're actually allowed to swim). I really don't have words for the things we saw, and I don't think any picture could do it justice, so I guess it will just be in my memory. A...

Jul 22, 2015 - Romans

43°30'5"N 16°31'21"E Stobreč, County of Split Croatia We visited the ancient Roman ruins in what was the Roman town of Salona, as cool as the historical aspect to them is, I think Emma and I both had more fun using them for rock-climbing and jumping purposes. None the less, it was a great morning at the ruins followed by a lovely afternoon at the beach just relaxing. THE PURSUIT IS HAPPINESS Peace out girl scouts

Jul 21, 2015 - Boat Days and Blue Caves

43°30'5"N 16°31'21"E Stobreč, County of Split Croatia Most breathtaking day. Today we hoped on a speed boat for the day, went an hour out to the Blue Cave, then to the Green Cave (where we could swim), the Blue Lagoon (also great swimming), a small island called Bisevo, and finally to Hvar before heading back to Stobreč. The boat itself was super fun to be on, it was the main boat for the day, although for the caves an such we did boat hop a little bit. The Blue Cave is the craziest thing I have ever seen. You duck down on a tiny boat to...

Jul 20, 2015 - Guess Who?

43°30'5"N 16°31'21"E Stobreč, County of Split Croatia Beach day number two, and still loving it. Today we had a great time jumping off this ramp/high-dive thing into the water. I have no idea how tall it was, but it was tell enough to get some serious air time. Plus today we saw the craziest thing: our friends from Budapest!!!!!! It was so funny to see someone we had met during our trip on our little Stobreč beach. The rest of the day was spent at the beach, until we went back into town for dinner in the evening. This time after dinner we...

Jul 19, 2015 - Let the Beach Days Begin

43°30'5"N 16°31'21"E Stobreč, County of Split Croatia Extremely chill beach day, the water is amazing though, crystal clear, and the deepest prettiest blue color ever. We spent most of today just lounging around and seeing what was to be seen around Stobreč. Emma, Catherine, and I made it into Split for some basic shopping since my luggage is still missing. But after that we made good use of my new swim suit back at the beach. For dinner we headed into Split again and I had the local black risotto, it is truly pitch black, and wills gain...

Jul 18, 2015 - The Tenth Country

43°30'5"N 16°31'21"E Stobreč, County of Split Croatia Eventful arrival in Croatia today, small plane into Rome with Alitalia and then on a propeller plane from Rome to Split. My luggage was lost. But no worries, the guys at the help counter were super helpful, and hopefully I'll see it soon. The view from the beach house is amazing, and Croatia is such a cool place (you know, in the 4 hours I've been here). THE PURSUIT IS HAPPINESS Peace out girl scouts
