Last night while I was sound a sleep, the Swedish girl from the top bunk, came back to the hostel drunk from the clubs and decided to hop into my bed completely naked. I woke up the next day and headed to Hvar, which is an island off the coast of Croatia where a lot of people go to vacation and party. ... I've just spent 5 fantastic days on the Croatian island of Hvar enjoying the hospitality of a family friend of Luke's who has an apartment there. ... Hvar belongs to the central island group of the Adriatic and lies in an east-west direction to the coast. ... These islands together are called "The Hvar Group" only 4. ... Hvar is about 68km long, partly under pine woods and partly under arable land and marked by distinctive beauty of panoramas of lavender fields, peaceful villages and a fresh climate. ... not bad for a little island with only 300km squared of space! We caught the ferry over from Split on Saturday then caught a jam packed bus from the ferry port at Stari Grad for a crazy half hour bus ride to the medieval Hvar Town. ...

Another great day in Croatia We got up later today and packed up sadly to leave our nice island. We drove to Korcula to get tickets for the ferry to The Island of Hvar. ... We landed at Stari Grad a small fishing village on the island, was so funny we drove into the port area, thought the water level very high, next thing we were in the middle of a flood it had risen so high! Drove round to Hvar old town, just stunning. ... Castle wall around it, lots of boats in port.Another great day in Croatia We got up later today and packed up sadly to leave our nice island. Just a short update as we are on our way to Bosnia-Hercegovina and do not have a map! Spent last night at a charming seaside campground - very primitive but amazing views and swimming. We bought some lavender oil (you can smell the lavender in the air on the island of Hvar), olive oil and wine which I hope to crack open soon. ...
