What a day! We got up early to walk the wall surrounding Old Town. We were told several times that we should do it early before the folks from the cruise ships descended on the city. We were at the gate a few minutes before it opened and are we glad we were. Dennis was in his glory taking photos at every opportunity. It was an amazingly beautiful morning, if a bit windy. Sep 20, 2012 - Around bend near Kotor to Cavtat Croatia

Bay of Kotor to Cavtat Unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm that started early in the AM, that dwindled down to rain, just before we got up for breakfast. It added another layer of complexity to the already picturesque hills and mountains above Kotor. Woke in our sobe in Drobota. Had a fine omelet prepared with continental breakfast by our smiling friendly Montenegro chef. Very nice place to stay. Sep 19, 2007 - Dubrovnik/Cavtat

Bike boxes and luggage in-tow, we arrive today in Dubrovnik. A short taxi to Cavtat, the original Roman colony of Epidaurum, and now a coastal resort, we settle in at the Hotel Croatia. Surprised by a mid-afternoon thunderstorm, Bob captures a vivid display of nature's wrath. Dinner and a stroll along the water, along with a beautiful sunset complete a perfect arrival day.
