Encore moi ... aujourd'hui pas grand chose... c'est une journee relax. On s'est levée pas trop tot vers 8h, petit déjeuner a l'hôtel et vers 11h on a traversée vers le village. y a pas grand chose a voir la, qq petit restos et plein plein plein de magasins de souvenirs ... je me suis baladée un peu, ai acheté des crackers et des tranchelettes de fromages et me suis installée sous un palmier sur la plage avec mes crackers et mon livre ... petit moment de bonheur ... Maintenant je suis de retour a l'hôtel (14h), vais terminer mes missives et...

hola chicas y chicos, me revoilà ... wow wow wow, quelle journée ... ce fut surtout une journée de voyage mais qui c'est terminée par un spectacle absolument fantastique ... alors commençons par le début... levée a une heure normale, vers 7h... après une bonne nuit de sommeil. Petite douche, ranger mon sac a dos , qui certes est super pratique mais pas pour autant moins bordélique ;-) et un rapide saut a la boulangerie locale pour un petit pain au chocolat et un délicieux café avant de monter dans le bus qui nous amènera à Limon. 2 heures...

et me revoila, je suis donc a pueto viejo, le long de la cote des caraibes... apres le belise je suis un peu moins impressionee, mais quand meme WOW, quést ce que c'est beau ... voyez la photo ... (juste pour vous donner des nouvelles, pas pour vous rendre jaloux, hihi) alors, on est donc parti en bus ce matin a 5h15 de san jose, une bus bien confort, rien a voir avec les buss au Belize. Heureusement parce que ca tournait pas mal. ah et trop rigolo, tout díun coup le bus cést arrete en pleine route... on se demandais tous ce qui ce passait...

After San Jose my new group took a bus ride to Puerto Viejo which is an amazing scenic village surrounded by white and black sand beaches. I ended up renting a bicycle with a couple of people and rode down to Manzanillo. It was quite a relaxing bike ride and was a nice change of pace from the long bus ride. I also spent some time at a sloth sanctuary which was really cool. They had everything from howler monkeys to sloths and it was amazing. En snabbis da vi snart ska vidare och har inget internet pa nagra dagar... Natten till den 22 var vi och spanade pa skoldpaddor...sag en green turtle som kom uopp for att lagga agg. Fick se hela processen och det var riktigt coolt, som varsta naturfilmen...enda negativa ar att det ar valdigt explopaterat...stod liksom 100 per pa ko for att se den stackars skoldpaddan lagga agg...som att sitta pa skithuset och ett par 100 pers ska in och saga hej...inte sa kul! Hei pa dere! Far bare fortelle forst om min forferdelige dag i gar! Ved lunsjtid ble jeg selvfolgelig darlig og spydde ALT jeg fikk i meg!!! Og det er ikke sarlig morsomt nar man er pa andre siden av jordkloden og ikke har sin egen herlige seng a ligge i..... Drakk resorb, men selv det kom jo opp igjen.... Jun 20, 2011 - Heldag i Puerto Viejo

En heldag runtomkring Puerto Viejo med lokal guide och Deinor (var GAP guide), alla i gruppen utom 2 var med i en liten minibuss utan AC...helvete vad man svettades! Vi b;rjade med en langre bilfard norrut till Sloth Rescue Center (sloth=sengangare). De tar hand om skadade eller pa annat satt behov av hjalp och senare slapper ut dem igen. De ar verkligen sloa men ratt roliga och sota pa nat satt. Darefter akte vi till cahuita och gick en langre promenad i regnskogen dar vi sag howmling monkeys, white face monkey, hackspett, odlor, spindlar...

May 31, 2011 - Manzanillo

We have spent the last couple of days on the Costa Rican Carribean Coast called Manzanillo. A nice simple end to our Central American tour. Its a nice quite town with not very much here. We tried snorkeling but the seas made it hard to see anything and lack of sun didnt help. But on a much clearer calmer day we can easily imagine what we missed. With not wanting to fork out hundreds on a turtle tour, w e settled for a much simnpler caves tour, which was short and sweet. The water is this places main attraction though, in Belize the water...
