Jul 18, 2007 - Ciudad Perdida - The Lost City Trek in the Sierra Nevada

Wednesday 18th July We headed out of Santa Marta on a 4x4s with a group of around 30 people, much bigger than usual. Slight miscalculation on my part saw me pass the army camp and take a left not a right back to the van so I had an extra hour wondering a path of the Sierra Nevada before Omar retrieved me (like I really need the extra hike!) and then we had lunch and returned by 4x4 to the highway with the Colombian lady singing "I did in My Way" in Spanish convinced that "it's ok for you but we colombians are not designed for this" - couldn't help noticing all three local ladies still had their perfect manicures in tact. ...
