Yes the extra 3 pounds were worth it - the bus was more comfortable, and James could just about unbend his knees - we have decided that its trains for us for the rest of the way, at least then we can both sleep! Today was just a day spare in Kunming to get our luggage from the hotel as we had left it there (my case is sooooo heavy!) and the cheapest way of getting to Chengdu. ...
