The guys have made it to Dengboche-the altitude of Pikes Peak and are acclimating there-or is it acclimatizing? Got an email from Denny and all is well, so now the hard part of altitude begins. Glad they are okay. Sandy and I traveled to Pokhara on the Tourist Bus. It was much slower and safer and we enjoyed the scenery. There is incredible terracing everywhere that starts at the river and goes all the way to the top of the hills. Making it to Tibet and Everest Base Camp was probably the biggest "Must Do" on our list during our trip around the World...and we were finally there. During our last trip to China we wanted to see Tibet, but there was too much red tape...and the red tape surrounded a huge price tag...so we didn't get to do it.
