Woke up at about 4 am and we had stopped in some town for no reason it seemed, so tried hitting the sack again. Woke about 2 hours later and we still hadnt moved, asked the bloke where we were and he said Taiyuan our final destination. We jumped off the bus and got straight into a minibus heading for Pingyao. this bus spent about two hours giving us a tour of the streets around Taiyuan bus station and it was ruddy freezing, I made my feelings known, with a few outbursts of abuse.
