Qindao wasn't that great, I'm not going to try and kid myself. There wasn't much to do here, the language barrier had a huge impact on our stay although it made things pretty interesting, it just doesn't top the list. Hello Everyone and thank you for your very supportive emails and responses to our website. It is really nice to know that so many people are following us on our trip. S&D's Asia Tour

Qingdao turned out to be a very busy transit hub with ships and trains coming and going every minute. It is also a regional business center with the new town bristling with high-rise office buildings. And they have great kebabs. While on the ship I made friends with a Korean traveler who's ultimate destination was the Soccer World Cup in Germany.
