We were surprised to find that all 23 trains to Suzhou were sold out for the next 2 days, so after a brief flirtation with the Chinese bus system, we hired a private driver to take us directly to a hotel in Suzhou. ... Hi Everyone! Sorry I've not been able to post updates very often,but internet cafes are hard to come by and our schedule is fast-paced. Just left Suzhou, a very small town outside Shanghai which has canals and very beautiful ancient gardens. ... Suzhou is famous for dumplings, which I've eaten a lot. ... This morning I had a Western breakfast though,and the toast, eggs, & coffee tasted great! The people on the trip are really awesome and fun, and I am learning so much about new places to travel, and am making new friends.Hi Everyone!
