Last evening in Hong Kong. ... what an eventful two days! My personal highlights were escaping Hong Kong's pollution by visting the numerous heavily fragranced temples, watching the light and laser show at Victoria Harbour (which is free and so unique that it is mentioned in the Guiness Book of Records), visiting the lively Temple Night Market and haggling like crazy and most of all taking a boat to Lamma Island. ...

Walked along some sort of China Walk of Fame in the morning, which is along this nice boardwalk that parallels Hong Kong Island on the other side of the harbour. ... WE LOVE HONG KONG! It puts every other city we've ever seen to shame. In the check in line-up yesterday (or 2 days ago i don't know now) the guy behind us told us a bit about Hong Kong: he said that if you want a house in Hong Kong, you'll need AT LEAST $10 MILLION!!! He said a nice house will cost you 1. ... 3 billion Hong Kong Dollars, whatever that is in Canadian. ... Also, the reason business does so well here is because there is no tax on anything but your base salary, meaning everything you make otherwise (stocks, investments, etc) is 100% yours to take home.WE LOVE HONG KONG!
