Apr 30, 2007 - The toilet situation worsens!!

We reluctantly left Mongolia and have now arrived in our final destination, Beijing after the longest border crossing ever. Before that I forgot to tell you about the breakfast in a brothel. May 26, 2005 - Great Wall... Simatai, China

After a couple of rainy days in Beijing, it was nice to get out to the sun in Simatai. The Great Wall hike from Jinshanling to Simatai was a tough 9k hike... but Jen and I enjoyed the fantastic views and chatting with the Mongolian farmers selling books along the way (poor product positioning!!) :) Jet lag still has us up before 6:00am everyday!! I think that I have successfully steered Jen off her "vegetarian trip diet"!... So far we have eaten duck, pork, chicken, and beef (I think it was beef!) :) I have had the best eggs... The food...
