Mar 18, 2006 - Hong Kong Days 1 and 2

We are both really loving HK. The flight here was uneventful, the plane was an hour late leaving Melbourne but we both got 6 hours sleep. Hong Kong International was a dream as always. In a refreshing break from tradition, the first 2 bags off the conveyor were ours! That has never happened before. We got stacks done on the first day. Most importantly we booked our tickets to Shanghai. We took the 'peak tram' up to the top of Victoria Peak and we took the Star Ferry to the Main Land. Sep 1, 2004 - Zhong Ying Wen Xue Shao

This is the school Kia goes to and I teach in. 'Zhong Ying Wen' means 'Chinese English Language' and 'Xue Xiao' means 'School'. Classes start at 7:30am but usually the kids are there by about 7:15 running self-directed reading or recitation exercises. By the time the teacher gets there they're already busy working, and the few that are not, are cleaning the classroom!
