Friday 7th March I don't know why it happens. We finally found the Ferry terminal and boarded the 'Turbojet' ferry that would take us to Shenzhen; about an hour trip. ... Upon our arrival at Shenzhen, we had to pass through customs, which felt weird given that we'd just gotten off of a boat! We cleared customs and used the free shuttle service to take us to the airport. ... Oct 16, 2007 - Yangshuo to Hong Kong (via Shenzhen)

Today we decided to try our hand at Chinese cooking and Barb and I, Paula, Jamie and Kirstie, Stewart, Eilish and Natalia attended the Yangshuo Cooking School.in the afternoon we walked around the West Street market shopping for nothing in particular and then sat around the lodge playing card games waiting until it was time to head to Guilin to catch an overnight train to Shenzhen and then into Hong Kong. ...
