Ellen: First I'd like to thank everyone who wrote us with concern about our "adventures" in Bolivia. It's made us feel very thought about and loved. Sorry to make you worry, but that's the good thing about this website - if we're writing about it, we're fine! So our trip to Santiago was really quite pleasant. We took a "microbus" because it made the trip a couple hours shorter. A big bus just couldn't go that fast up and over the Andes, and customs is quicker with only 7 people.
