This past weekend, our group went to this place in Santiago called Villa Grimaldi with our politics and globalization professors. ... The journey from Mendoza to Santiago was stunning, so we thoroughly enjoyed it, until that is we got to the Argentina/Chile border. ... Unfortunately there was some sort of strike on at immigration which meant that there was about a 1km queue to get across which resulted in a 4 hour wait to get across!! We had a lovely time in Santiago exploring the city and it's parks - although for the first time during our trip we had some rain and it was cloudy the whole time we were there. ...
