We were only in La Serena for a couple of days, which was enough to lie on the beach and visit the Elqui Valley - home to Chilean Pisco and Chile´s numerous observatories. ... Unfortunately in the usually cloudless skies of La Serena it was incredibly cloudy and we couldn´t go to the observatory, but thankfully we were able to still able to sample some of the region´s Pisco on our valley tour. ...
