May 8, 2008 - Day 2 in Canada
Headed through Saskatchewan,Canada this morning and got on Canada Hwy 1 westbound for Calgary. Stopped for lunch and fuel along the highway in Caronport and drove on in to Tompkins- a small town, couldn't use the provencial parks as they are stil closed in this area but Dave talked to a rancher at the fuel stop and he told us of a nice campground in Tomkins. It was a small campground and they are just enlarging it and not supposed to open till tomorrow but the water and electric is on and they told us to pick a spot, no charge- We left $10....
