Today we found both. Loons brought us to Jack Greening, and Jack Greening brought us to the loons. Some things are just meant to be. 2010 Race 2 Finish

Jun 9, 2010 - Prince Albert National Park, Sask.

We spent two nights at Prince Albert National Park in Saskatchewan. This park is certainly worth a side trip. Not long after we entered the park and received all the information they give out, including the bear warning, we saw two bear crossing the road. We encountered a small herd of elk just as we were entering Waskesiu Village. They are pretty tame and are calving. We saw one calf. We spent Thursday driving the two main roads around Lake Waskesiu and taking short trails. We probably hiked a total of 5 miles. I particularly like the...
