Jun 28, 2009 - I wish I knew what I am doing

I seem to have been typing the same things over and over again & I have now idea where anything is going. Our first stop was Meadow lake Provincial Park. lovely but the roads reminded me of Labrador. Very dusty. we had a lovely visit with family, then moved on and stopped at a Doukhobour museum at Veregin (doukhobour translated means spirit wrestlers) the main prayer house and residence was lovely, but they sure worked hard. WE then headed to Sioux Narrows where we are right now. the weather is leaving lots to be decided for. lots of wind...

May 24, 2007 - Sackatchewan, May 24,25,26,27

We'll add picture when we can get to a wifi spot later. May 24, Cold but no snow, a bit rainy. Had breakfast in Yorkton. J&J had to get work done on their RV. They couldn't get it done until 1:00 so we decided to go back to the same campground. The guys bought a 3 day fishing license for $40. Went exploring. JOhn caught a beautiful fluorescent green walleye. Tom had a few bites. His luck isn't much better then in NJ. But it snowed, hailed and rained while they were trying to fish. That's dedication. Aug 4, 2006 - Meadow Lake - Playing Cowboys

2/8 Big day. Up at 6am, takes nearly 1hr to pack completely. Say goodbye to Randy and Margaret, take a taxi to the Greyhound for the start of our 14hrs bus ride. 1st connection goes fine, 2nd 20mins late. This is fine by us as it means that we get straight on the bus for ML with another 7 people on it. We make it into ML later than planned - 10.45pm. Newton was waiting for us with quick introduction.
