Day Twenty-two – July 12 Grenfell 131k This turned out to be a great day for riding. Everyone was grateful for the day. We finally had a tail wind, a decent highway, things to see and do. Yesterday most of the riders were in philosophy mode: why am I doing this?; what was I thinking?; what possessed me to sign up? Why? Why? By the end of the day everyone was asking where do I sign up for next year? Not quite. But they were yelling back and forth: this is what I signed up for. Checking the ditches

Aug 31, 2007 - AAC (agility) Trial in Grenfell

Today was the first day of an AAC agility trial in Grenfell Saskatchewan. It was a nice, warm (if windy) day and we really enjoyed catching up with old friends that were also in attendance. None of our dogs did particularly well, although they weren't far off earning 'qualifying' ribbons several times. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. A delicious roast beef supper was catered which was sure enjoyed after a long day in the sun. We have a very nice campsite in the regional park; directly across the road from the trial site.
