Mel: Well, we got back home safely, but not without excitement. We made it through the 12 hr flight across the Pacific Ocean. We even survived our stopover in LAX (I'm sure you can imagine that American airports are not the most efficient nor overly pleasant to be in). But beause of a fuel-related delay on our plane from LA to Toronto, we missed our connecting flight to Ottawa. And of course it was the last flight of the day.
