@@@@@@@ KAPOORS ON THE ROAD The roads to Mont Tremblant were narrow and winding and the traffic was surprisingly heavy. The last hour was in pitch darkness and it was a little unnerving. We were happy to arrive in the small town at last and found great rooms at a great price. We unloaded our luggage and then went into town to buy a few groceries and have a light supper. Jul 6, 2007 - Horse back riding, Mont-Tremblant

In the morning, we drove to the ranch through unpaved roads in the mountains. After a brief lesson on how to control the horses, we set out on the trails leading into the nearby forest (Hiya!!). Initially the horses ambled, then they trotted, and once in a while galloped. Experiencing the speed of a horse is a special feeling. Gives you a feeling of power. Jul 5, 2007 - Biking in Mont-Tremblant

Mont-Tremblant is a small town, 2 hour drive 'Nord' of Montreal. The town is synonymous with a resort that goes by the same name. After a sumptuous breakfast in our hotel, we went to the resort. Here we rented bicycles and rode into the country. Initially the terrain was very hilly, but after about 30 min we reached plain ground. Our bike trail for today was an unused rail road in the region, that took us through coniferous forests, ranches, and lakes. It was a pleasant ride.
