Jul 16, 2008 - Adult day! Last day in Ottawa

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh today was my day. Robin took me to a wonderful Scandanavian spa today in Quebec. It is called Le Nordik and it is 5 different baths of differing temperatures outside set in the rocks and forest of the Gatineaus. The baths range from a whirlpool one at 36 degrees down to a waterfall cold one at 13 degrees. The idea of the spa is the scandanavian way of heating up in a hot pool, sauna or steam room and then quickly dipping in a cold one to close your pores. Aug 8, 2006 - Ottawa, Ontario

Aug. 8/06 Arrived in Ottawa at Camp Hither Hills campground @ 1:30, our neighbors Phil and Judy from Hamilton, Ont. real friendly and gave us books and info. Went downtown, parking was $20.00 for the rest of day. Walked up to Parliament Hill we went on 2 tours, the East block which was a history lesson that returned us to July 2,1872 and the Centre block where the House of Commons & Senate sit and saw the newly refurbished parliamentary library that has just been reopened to the public.
