I was in the Nunavik Inuit communities around the Ungava Bay area. It's a beautiful part of our country. From the plane, I could see the tree line wind its way across the land. The communities reminded me of a cross between NWT and Nunavut northern communities in terms of its vastness and vegetation. Yet, each community was unique unto itself. The smallest community, Aupaluk, has a population of 159. And the Inuit are very friendly! They welcomed us to their communities and some into their own homes. m.
