(Ron Writing) Elena’s sinuses were giving her a major problem yesterday and that continued this morning. By noon she was feeling much better so we headed out of Campbellton after stopping by the library to use the internet. We are going to miss the Maritime Provinces after spending three months touring that beautiful area of eastern Canada. We crossed the Restigouche River into the province of Quebec at the town of Pointe-a-la-Croix. We found a visitor center there with a young lady who kindly spoke English and provided us with several maps...

Ron & Elena's 2007-2010 Travels

Tuesday August 12…9:45pm We left Campbellton and crossed the big bridge to the beginning of the Gaspe region of Quebec. First thing we wanted to do was to stop at the tourist info place on the other side of the bridge, but we forgot that the time changed back and hour, so we got there a bit before it opened. Waited till 9am, and grabbed a few maps and tour books of the region we will be travelling through. Once again, it’s overcast with bits of drizzle throughout the day. We only stopped a couple of times, and it still took us about 5 hours...
