Jun 20, 2012 - St.Catharines to Yellowknife

Today my family is all packed up and ready to start our journey ! We are traveling from St.Catharines to Yellowknife by plane, then our flight leaves to Vancouver and from there we are driving to Calgary. By July 20 we will be heading towards Edmonton, and finally we will reach Sudbury. On August 20 we will be coming home! It is going to be great !

Jul 20, 2009 - Almost ready!

Amy and I are almost ready...it sounds like Amy's more ready than Liz! Tied up with motorcycle associations, a car show and one more motorcycle show yet, Liz is falling behind in the preparations - but Amy's on top of it though. Our passports have 2 visa's and off for the last one (Russia). All thanks to Amy (and a little help from Barb and Purolator). That's what next week is for - what to take, does it fit, and most of all - can you lift it and lug it - BY YOURSELF! (always a trick) Only 17 more sleeps until we leave! wow

May 17, 2009 - We're booked!

Amy and I are booked! The GAP Adventure is set...flights are booked...now to obtain our travel visas and finalize the Xian trip to see the Terracotta Warriors. August 6th fast approaches as we get ready for our 13 hour flight from Toronto to Beijing. Fingers crossed...no swines in sight
