Today: 434 miles Total: 10612 miles Dale: We got in late and spent most of our time talking with my family back in Fort Kent. We're still 2 days away but will be there on Tuesday. Things are not good with mom...but we're doing OK. We'll try to write more tonight...

May 12, 2008 - On to Canada
May, 12, 2008 Left Cathederal Pines C.G. at 7:30 AM. Beautiful drive up through Chain of Ponds, following the river and driving through Mountain Ranges to Coburn Gore. Saw two Moose at a Salt Shed along the way. Had no problems crossing the boarder. Once we were in Canada the terrain leveled out and we drove through beautiful farm land all through Quebec and Ontario. It was a beautiful day and the trip was uneventful except for an unplanned tour of Montreal. WE were following RT 10 W and it took us right into the city. Luckily Charlie...

Oct 6, 2007 - Sudbury - Pembroke
The weather has turned ugly, foggy and rainy. Time to move on; unfortunately the day does not get any better. We follow the Ottawa River Valley, which is a beautiful area, but we can't really tell. The trees are nice, they are getting more red with more maples in the area , but the weather is not conducive to taking pictures of it. We are still on a 2 lane highway that goes through lots of small towns; most of them seem to have a Tim Horton's!
