Aug 5, 2007 - Ride Manitoulin Island

Today, we head back to Sudbury on the first leg of our trip home. I suggested that we take a side trip and explore Manitoulin Island on the way. The ride to the island was quite nice, windy roads through a steep rocky area up to a fascinating old swing bridge with a single-lane wooden deck. The island itself was not much of a ride, mostly flat farmland. Not a lot to see. By the time we stopped at Ten Mile Point, we were very tired from the monotonous ride.
