Day Thirty-one – July 21 Quetico Provincial Park 154k There was a lot of concern in the camp last night about today’s ride. Today would be long, it would be hot, and there weren’t too many stops along the stretch. My measured temperature in Fort Francis yesterday was 32 degrees. Today was to be a little less but not by much. By the time I crawl out of my tent just before 6am, much of the camp is a stir with tents already coming down. Jul 20, 2012 - Taylor's Cove
Day Thirty – July 20 Taylor’s Cove 129k I was tired from the wind fight of the previous day. I awoke after my alarm went off. I vaguely remember swatting at my alarm. That is not how I get up. I fought away the sleep and got out of my tent shortly after 6 am. I think I dehydrated myself yesterday. The temperature was in the low 30s and the wind was in the face. I drank lots once I got to camp but nary a drop escaped me in the night. My urination in the morning was a nice golden colour. I promise to do better today. I am on the road by 7:30....

Jul 27, 2002 - 10, 000 Lakes & International Falls, MN.
Our next stop was to settle in a cabin or nice RV park along one of the 10,000 famous lakes for a couple of days. The Brainerd area had been recommended as having a lot of nice places of those types. Also thought about lake Mille Lacs (18X25 miles - Big!). Little did we know there was a 20 state baseball tournament in the area -- we couldn't find anything, anywhere -- not even a cheap motel! Drove on towards Grand Rapids, and finally found an RV site. We were pooped out! Not used to going till 8PM before stopping! Got a recommendation for...
