We set out Wednesday morning, intending to putter along the shore of Lake Erie, hopefully to end up at Long Point Provincial Park. However, our plans were about to be changed. As we drove along the highway, there was a clattering and banging noise behind us. I asked Jon if he knew what it was, and he said he thought it was the roof vent. I pulled over, but it was too late. It was gone. This was the one I replaced at Yorkton, Saskatchewan, earlier in the month, and it didn't have a proper hinge on the vent to hold the vent cover. It was...
