Jun 27, 2016 - Day three - Construction day

Monday started out with heavy clouds and temps in the low 60's We like riding in the 60's and 70's. We traveled 17 all the way to Sudbury and they were working on Bridges, so small delays, but the biggest delay came around Espanola. Fortunately right after we gassed up and had lunch. We immediately got into a 1 mile back up from construction we lost 50 minutes here. and once we got going found a 2.2 mile back up on the other side. Jun 21, 2013 - From Ontario to Newfoundland ferry

Greetings on Day 37 sitting in the Sydney, NS ferry terminal. Over 7,000 km later we made it and shortly we will be getting on the really big ferry boat, makes BC Ferries look like toys. This one goes 428 km from here to Argentia, NL in about 16 hours. We've had the most wonderful time in Nova Scotia with markets, generous people and so happy to be back to the ocean. Jun 7, 2013 - 23 Days from home

23 days from Powell River and here we are in Bracebridge, Ontario and finally on the computer to update this site. My apologies for my laxness. Whether it's no WIFI or no power to get the laptop or no time, here we are more than half way across the country. Sorry. In a nutshell, the trip has gone very well with the rig only causing some concern twice but nothing big. She is purring along, climbed all the huge mountain passes in BC without a problem but hates the wind and so do we. Would you believe we have had wind ever since we left? We...

Nov 20, 2008 - Heading Home

This will probably be the last posting as we are organizing ourselves to leave Europe. It is hard to believe that we are at the end of this wonderful journey. This last week in Prague has been a lovely experience. We would recommend it to anyone. Tomorrow we will head towards Germany but still probably spend one more night in the Czech Republic before heading to Munich on Saturday. We will spend Saturday night there and then fly to London on Sunday, spend Sunday night in London and then fly to Toronto Monday morning. Right now we are trying...
