Port Medway.. home of Sandy's cousin Di, and also once home of the singer "Carol Baker". This quiet little fishing village is rich in history dating back to 1783 and at one time was a bustling seaport, today still very active during the cod and lobster season. During the early years the shipbuilding industry created all sizes of crafts for the fishing fleets. Tons upon tons of fish were loaded on these ships and sailed to Europe. Sep 25, 2009 - Sandra's Fifty Year Reunion with Cousin Di

This is the weekend Sandy has been waiting for.. her reunion with her cousin Di in a small fishing village of Port Medway, NS. On our arrival into the village it appeared that everyone knew of our anticipated arrival.. the rig was rather large.. and no campgrounds in the village. The parking was determined quickly in Pete and Di's back yard. Somehow my navigator had disappeared!! Oh well,her eyes were clouded with tears of joy as she was off getting reacquainted with her cousin whom she hadn't seen since she was 11 years old.. in...
