June 16 - Arrived in Port aux Basq and caravaned to Grand Codroy RV Campground, Doyles, Newfoundland. June 17 An all day bus trip with stop for lunch at Anglican Church Holy Trinity. Jul 1, 2008 - Newfoundland - More fog, only this time we had moose to look out for!
After arriving in North Sydney at around lunch time and discovering that there wasn’t a hell of a lot to do, we decided to see if we could get on an earlier ferry that day, instead of spending another night in Cape Breton and wasting a day just hanging around. We learnt at the time of booking our ferry tickets that two ferries were out of service and one of the passages, to Argentia, wasn’t running at all. We managed to get tickets but were told the schedules were 4 – 5 hours late due to the shortages and they couldn’t give us a definite...
