Drove PH 230 & PH 230A to Shoal Harbour, found a trail to walk, both sides of a river. Lovely weather. Found a laundramat in Clarenville. Linda read and did laundry, Ron explored and ended up several miles down PH 230A and met the couple from Ontario in the older Toyota “Mini-Winnie” again. Ate lunch at Chinese / Canadian Buffet with the same name as the one we ate at in Port Aux Basques. We decided no trip to Newfoundland would be complete without a trip to Dildo. According to a book we read while in Dildo, the name could very well be associated with the sexual device we all snicker about when we hear the name of this place. There is an island in the bay called Dildo Island who's shape resembles a penis. (I am only quoting what we read).
