Today we visited Botwood and the Botwood Aviation Museum. The Botwood Museum tells the aviation history of Botwood. The first aircraft facilities were established in 1920 by Major Sidney Cotton from where he did aerial surveying for the Newfoundland government and experimented with using his three airplanes to spot seal herds, and to deliver mail by air.
