May 8, 2018 - St Stephens

I’m still staying at St Andrews but today I took a trip to the neighbouring town of St Stephens which is about 20 minutes away. There were 2 excellent reasons for visiting St Stephens: (a) I was told that the Atlantic Superstore there had fresh lobster, and (b) There’s a Chocolate Museum there. I chose my live lobster from the tank ($13.99 per lb) & they steamed him for me while I did the rest of my shopping. Then I went to the Chocolate Museum but it’s closed Mondays & Tuesdays at this time of year so I’ll have to go back later in the week...

Sep 15, 2011 - St Stephens New Brunswick Canada

We went to St. Stephens, a wonderful town just across the St Croix river from Maine. We ate at the Bistro located in the Historic Ganong Chocolate Factory Building. We had Mussels and Escargot each was superbly prepared, a wonderful lunch. We then took a tour of the Ganong Chocolate museum, a company that was established in 1885. There are six generations who have headed up the company. During the tour they provided samples, we mean they were unlimited, we ate as much as we wanted. Aug 10, 2008 - St.Stephens,New Brunswick

AUGUST 10th. Our morning was more relaxed with only 250km. to drive to St. Stephens we didn't leave till 8.30am.It was cloudy but no rain hopfully it will clear up.Arrived in St.Stephens before lunch managed to get internet a bouns for me for I have a lot of catching up to do. As we checked in we were told there's to be fireworks in town tonight the two communities spent a big dollar on the fireworks so they should be good.The skies cleared up bright and sunny with no were to go we are enjoying the afternoon.
