We drove across the interior of the Gaspe Peninsula today as we headed south to New Brunswick. . It was a stunning drive. Whatever we think we missed along the coast, we made up for it today. The drive was through the mountains. We had views of lakes and rivers. We are actually in a very small community called Belledune. I’m not sure how it warrants a dot on the map. May 27, 2017 - Au Revoir Quebec

Up for an early blast-off (a nasty trend has started) as we intended to bike the path and bridge at Chandler before leaving Quebec today. The sun was shining but there were also hurricane force winds howling off the ocean making 14 degrees feel like 2 celcius. We discovered the bike path was as lovely as advertised but decided to drive the road beside it (quit laughing).
