We drove by a artisian cafe in Alma last night that we wanted to try for Breakfast. What a great treat it was. The place had lots of character and a great breakfast sandwich. They had the best coffee that I have tasted in years. It was an unique place that made it memoriable. We had an intermediate stop in Saint John New Brunswick on our way to Blacks Harbour to do laundry. The laundromat was located downtown in the old district. Sep 30, 2006 - St. Andrews

Our stop to see my cousin in St. Andrews was a real treat. We got to take a tour of the golf course where she runs the clubhouse restaurant and her boyfriend is the golf pro. The course was built back in the late 1800's and looks out over the bay into Maine. As you can see in the pictures it was beautiful. And again we got to meet some great family that we did not know before! Thanks for the tour guys!

Jun 28, 2006 - Leaving the US to St. Andrews, New Brunswick

It was a pretty drive though Maine to St. Andrews New Brunswick. We got busted at the Canadian customs and had to pay duty on all our wine. That made our 2 buck chuck into 10 buck chuck. But at least we know the wines we have and some of them are very good from France, so I wouldn't want to lose them. But the funny thing was that they confiscated a bag of potatoes that we had just bought. Some dispute between their agricultural department and ours.
