We were surprised leaving Thunder Bay by the miles and miles of black spruce bog. Seemed like 100 miles of bog and jackpine forest. Then the land changed to granite outcrops similar to what we saw on the east side of Lake Superior. We drove around 60 miles through Whiteshell PP to the Otter Falls Campground. There was water everywhere. They have received almost 8 inches of rain in a week and everything is flooded, including the road at one point.
