Jun 5, 2011 - Wells Grey Provincilial Park

We looked for bears in the morning and saw three. At 10:00 am we took a boat tour up Clearwater Lake shooting the rapids on the Clearwater and xxx rivers to Azure Lake. We toured the lake Taking in Garnet Falls Roster Tail Falls, Split Rock Falls and Rainbow Falls were we had lunch. Our tour bat provide water taxi services for two couples who were going to spend 10 days canoeing and camping on the two lakes. The will be paddling 50+ kilometers back to the tour head quarters’. Jun 4, 2011 - Wells Gray Provincial Park

We started the day with another drive out to Clearwater Lake. We stopped along the way and looked at Helmcken Falls a spectacular falls that has carved through 300 meters of Lava before joining the Clearwater River in the glacial valley below. The falls is the third highest in BC. We also visited Spshats Falls in the afternoon and took a drive up the Trophy Mountain Road to the Flowers Meadow Trail head. We saw 9 Black Bear including a Sow and yearling cub.

Sep 5, 2009 - Well Gray Provincial Park

We took off in the morning and head to the end of the road to see about taking a boat tour on Clearwater and Azure lakes. On the way we stopped at an old homestead called Ray Farm. I took a short walk on a trail to the old homestead. There was plenty of bear food but no sign of them along the trail. When we reached the lake a light rain started and we found that the chances of a boat tour were slim as they had a minimum number that was needed and we were the only people expressing an interest. Sep 4, 2009 - Well Gray Provincial Park

We headed towards Prince George and then south to Williams Lake. We have decided to go to Wells Gray Provincial Park. We had been told that there we plenty of bears along the one and only road that provided a corridor to the parks interior. We reared Pyramid Mountain Campground and set up camp. We decided to stay two nights and spend the day exploring the park tomorrow.

Jul 28, 2008 - Clearwater (Wells Gray Provincial Park)

Wat vertellen we vandaag over onze dag te Clearwater...Clearwater city sucks (excusez-moi le mot), maar in het Wells Gray park hebben ze dan wel weer de mooiste watervallen van B.C. We verblijven aan de ingang van het park en beslissen om meteen tot aan het eindpunt te rijden. Daar bevindt zich Clearwater Lake, uitvalsbasis voor een hike langs het meer.
