Oct 21, 2008 - Vernon, Surrey
Yes, it's been awhile! We came back to Swan Lake from New York and spent the remainder of September there. We had a number of lazy days that saw the only real activity as Maureen's daily walk! Some days we went on drives, still exploring the area. One such drive was up to Silver Star Ski Area. Much different again from both Whistler and Sun Peaks. It's not really a summer destination although very beautiful. The architecture is quite different and very bright. There was quite a bit of construction going on here too. The drive down had some...

After a good brunch, dumping the tanks, and filling with fuel it was time to say goodbye to Gary and Linda and head for our home RV park in Vancouver. This is the part of our yearly trip that we all hate...the goodbyes....I think it safe to say we had a great trip/visit and cant wait until the next one.... Next time Linda and I will share the blog, both making entries, to keep both sides of the family up to date on our trip. We had an uneventful trip home, and it felt good to be back at our home RV park.....caught up with neighbours and...

Apr 5, 2008 - HOME!!!
Again pushed ourselves on the 5th and made it all the way home! We had a nine hour day on the road. Traffic was smooth going through both Portland and Seattle and the border was excellent. Great to be home!! That's all for this trip. We had a super time. Next on the agenda is our cruise through the Panama and we'll let you know how that goes. There should be lots of pictures from there! It's interesting that even though we change locations, when night falls we put our heads on the same pillows in the same bed, it's just when we wake up in...

While it is nice to be home I am...

Jul 28, 2007 - The Move
The Move The Move began way back in May when the sorting and packing started. More than a full load was sent with 1-800-GOT-JUNK and a big load was given to Big Brothers. The boys moved on July 6, as mentioned, and they took an awful lot of stuff - probably more than they should have in their little house. Since then they have acquired our almost new fridge from the house as well as a very welcome little freezer, a house-warming gift from Auntie Pat and Uncle Steve. Our move was scheduled for Sunday, July 22, preceded the night before by...
